As some of you may know, I track all of my Constant-Content articles (and all writing projects) in a spreadsheet. I have programmed it to calculate price, deduct the CC “cut,” calculate my hourly wage, and much more. I also use it to lay out an annual income goal and break that down into a daily dollar amount that I must earn. Another sheet is used for tax purposes, telling me exactly how much money to put aside for taxes with each payday.
This spreadsheet is invaluable! I mentioned in my eBook that I’d eventually create a blank one and upload it to my site. Well, a fellow writer called me on it! She asked if I’d gotten around to it yet. No, I hadn’t. Today, I got to work. It’s nearly ready to upload. I’ll be making it available for free for a few weeks before putting a nominal price on it, probably after the holidays.
